Two people were killed in a horrific single-vehicle rollover crash that temporarily paralyzed traffic on the 60 Freeway in East Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The deadly incident occurred in the westbound lanes of the freeway, just east of the 710 Freeway interchange. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision involved only one vehicle that overturned, tragically resulting in two confirmed fatalities.
In the wake of the accident, CHP officers were forced to close two westbound lanes of the roadway. The closure caused significant delays and the lanes remained shut down for an unspecified amount of time as investigators worked the scene.
