Los Angeles police are investigating a fatal shooting in Venice after a man was killed Sunday night.
Officers responded around 8:45 p.m. to reports of gunfire on the 2100 block of Walnut Avenue. When they arrived, they found a 30-year-old Black man with multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police said they have not identified a suspect or motive. They confirmed the victim was not homeless, and investigators have not determined whether the shooting was gang-related.
Authorities have released no further details.
