Bobcats Beat Gordonsville At Home For District Win

Pickett County’s boys basketball team earned a 55 to 40 victory over Gordonsville, Tuesday night in Byrdstown.

The Bobcats connected on six, three’s against Gordonsville. Pickett County hit 13 of 17 free throws on the night as well.

Zach Amonett scored a game high 30 points for Pickett County. Amonett hit all nine of his free throws and three shots from beyond the arch for the game. John Parker Regan added in 13 points for the Bobcats.

The Bobcats record improves to 14-8, 6-5 on the season. Pickett County will host Red Boiling Springs Friday night.
