Lady Panthers Grind Out First District Win Against Rhea Co

Stone Memorial girls basketball team extended their win streak to 10 with a 56 to 54, in their first district game of the season against Rhea County.

The game was knotted up at 39 after three quarters of play. The Lady Panthers hit four of their 11 made three’s in the final period of the contest.

Emma Capps scored a game high 18 points. Capps connected on four shots from behind the three point line.  Annah Gross added 14 points of her own as she also hit four shots from behind the three point line.

Tuesday nights win improves Stone Memorials record to 17-1, 1-0. The Lady Panthers will be back in action Friday night against Warren County, in Crossville.
