12 Eagles Score In Blowout Win Against Richard Hardy

Van Buren County’s boys basketball team stays unbeaten in district play with an 80 to 44 win over Richard Hardy, Tuesday night in Spencer.

The Eagles scored no less than 16 points in each quarter Tuesday night. Van Buren County scored a game high 23 points in the second quarter as they hit nine shots from the floor.

Van Buren hit 11 of 19 free throw attempts and they hit three, three’s throughout the game.

Jacob Guy scored a game high 16 points for Van Buren County. Ethan McCoy added 15 points and Caleb Lawson scored 10 points, all in the fourth quarter.

Van Buren County’s record improves to 7-14, but most importantly their district record improves to 4-0. The Eagles host South Pittsburg Friday night in Spencer.
